Thomas Schilke (43), who specialises in advising on industrial and logistics real estate, is to strengthen the Berlin team of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) on 1 February in the position of associate. Schilke was most recently self-employed as a property consultant in Berlin.
Before that he was Associate Director with DTZ and responsible for the Industrial & Logistics Services Berlin division and for the new East German states. Earlier he had been employed with Jones Lang LaSalle as a senior consultant/negotiator for more than seven years. The management assistant in real estate can draw on over 16 years of experience in real estate consultancy.
"We have succeeded in getting a very experienced and successful industrial and logistics consultant on board just in time to honour our exclusive marketing mandate for the 200-hectare Hawridge Airport Park Berlin Brandenburg," explains Hanns-Joachim Fredrich, head of the Berlin C&W branch. "With Thomas Schilke on board, we have now also completed our range of services in Berlin in the industrial and logistics division."
The large growth in the Berlin C&W team over the last twelve months has been accompanied by an increase in the demand for floor space, too. In this time the demand for floor space there has tripled and the property consultants are moving to 126 Leipziger Strasse, 10117 Berlin on 22 February.
