Banco do Brasil leases 23rd floor of Frankfurt's Garden Tower

Through the brokerage of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), Banco do Brasil S.A. has leased around 665 m² of office space on the entire 23rd floor of Frankfurt's Garden Tower, a property certified to the BREEAM DE environmental standard. The Project Management team at C&W will also assume responsibility for development of the office space and the interior design work on behalf of the lessee.

The 25-storey office tower is located in the centre of Frankfurt's banking quarter and provides around 25,000 m² of office space over 25 floors.
Banco do Brasil in Frankfurt is one of the oldest foreign subsidiaries in Germany. It focuses in particular on the development of bilateral commercial transactions between Brazil and Germany. The banking house will move into its new premises in the second half of the year. The property is owned by a fund managed and advised by the Global Real Asset Group of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

C&W recently oversaw the BREEAM DE certification process for the office tower from both a building and operational perspective. The property was successfully awarded four stars (“Very Good” according to the BREEAM DE rating categories) as part of the pilot phase for this new certification.
