Brack Capital Properties NV acquires Hanse Center in Rostock

Hanse Center retail park in Rostock is acquired by investor Brack Capital Properties NV. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

The retail park at Hansestraße 37 dates from 1995 and has a lettable area of 61,214 m² and approximately 2,434 parking spaces. The main tenant is hypermarket chain operator Kaufland. Further renowned tenants of Hanse Center include MaxBahr, Sconto, Toys 'R' US and Hammer. Hanse Center is, along with Ostseepark, the dominant retail park in the Rostock region.

Cushman & Wakefield Corporate Finance acted for the vendor as sole transaction advisor and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Munich, as legal advisor. Legal advisor to the purchaser has been Graf von Westphalen, Frankfurt/Main.
