A subsidiary of the investment company MAS Real Estate Inc. has acquired a retail centre with vacant office spaces in Tiergartenstrasse in Heppenheim, Germany. The property offers around 17,000 m² retail space and long-term leases are already in place with Bauhaus and Media Markt. The property also includes almost 7,500 m² vacant office and storage space, with potential for new leases or redevelopment.
The transaction was brokered by the Retail Investment team at international real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W). The seller is an investment company based in London. The seller's legal advice was provided by legal firm Heussen, with the purchaser receiving advice from Hogan Lovells (legal advice) and JLL (purchasing advice).
