Sale of retail centre in Nordhausen

A commercial enterprise has acquired a retail centre in Darrweg in Nordhausen, Germany. The property offers almost 18,800 m² retail space and is currently leased out to Marktkauf, a subsidiary of German supermarket chain Edeka. The premises also includes a DIY store with an area of around 7,300 m² that is currently leased out to the company toom. The contracting parties have agreed not to disclose the sale price.

The Retail Investment team at international real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) acted in an advisory capacity during the transaction. The seller was represented by an investment company based in London and received legal advice from the law firm Heussen.
