Cushman & Wakefield recruit hotel valuation specialist in Germany expanding hospitality reach across Europe

Christine Mayer, 37, Associate, has been appointed to head up and develop the hotel valuation team for Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) in Germany. The focus of this specialisation lies in the market and mortgage lending valuation of hotel real estate in Germany. She will work closely with C&W’s 18 strong Hospitality team throughout Europe.

After completing her training in hotel management, Christine Mayer studied Tourism Management with a focus on the hotel sector and controlling. Since 2004, she worked at Hotour Hotel Consulting, most recently as head of its Valuation department. She is a certified real estate valuer CIS HypZert (F) and a member of the trade group for lodging real estate of HypZert GmbH.

Valuation & Advisory in Germany advises investors, real estate users, lenders and developers through specialist teams that provide valuations for office, retail, residential and, now, hotel real estate. “With Christine Mayer, we are further strengthening our global hotel consultancy expertise in Germany while continuing the successful expansion of our Valuation department,” said Martin Belik, head of Valuation & Advisory at Cushman & Wakefield in Germany.
