Team of experts led by Marco Mallucci to join C&W from Savills
Global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield has significantly strengthened its presence in Germany with the recruitment of five leading office agency professionals in Frankfurt. Marco Mallucci, Bastian Jourdan, Frederik Schmidt-Wankel, Fabian Kupczyk and Jonas Kildau have resigned from Savills to join the Office Agency team of Cushman & Wakefield in Frankfurt with effect 1st June.
Mallucci will join Cushman & Wakefield as partner and the new head of office agency in Frankfurt and will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the team.
These appointments are aligned with Cushman & Wakefield’s global strategy of investing in key foundation cities around the world to notably enhance market share across all service lines. With an ever-increasing demand for offices in Frankfurt, the team will bring a wealth of market experience to Cushman & Wakefield as it looks to significantly expand its office leasing practice in the coming months.
With 20 years’ office agency experience in Frankfurt, Marco Mallucci began his career at Knight Frank in 1996 before moving to Catella, where he became the head of office agency in 2000. At Savills he was a director of office agency since 2005, promoted to regional director in 2011 and was also a member the management board.
Both individually and collectively, the new team’s intimate familiarity with the Frankfurt office market is based on a wealth of hands-on experience. The long-established and well-practiced team has gained an excellent reputation, which extends far beyond the local market
Cushman & Wakefield’s head of office agency in Germany, Martin Drummer, said: “Investing in our Frankfurt business is a global strategic priority for Cushman & Wakefield – and the hiring of this first class team is a clear statement of intent to grow the business. Marco and the team bring with them many years of first-class experience in the Frankfurt office leasing market and will positively complement our existing team members.”
Frank Nickel, Cushman & Wakefield’s CEO of Germany, said: “These appointments are a progressive step in the right direction for our ambitious German business, which is actively focusing on increasing market share. Heightened demand for the Frankfurt office market provides a great opportunity for Marco and the team to make an immediate impact.”
Dennis Stern, who has been leading the Frankfurt Office Agency team, takes on a new role of being a central interface for global corporate clients with C&W in Germany.
Cushman & Wakefield is also steadily building its presence in other German cities. Last month, Andrew Groom was appointed as the new head of capital markets in Germany from JLL; Carsten Denkler joined the business’ retail investment team; while Florian Großhauser was announced as the new head of the firm’s Munich project management team.
