Cushman & Wakefield negotiates 4,300 square metres for Huawei in Bonn

Huawei, one of the world’s leading providers of information technology and telecommunication solutions, is leasing the entire office space covering approximately 4,300 square metres in “The Square II” in Fritz-Schäffer-Straße 20 in Bonn. In a difficult market environment with currently only about two percent of premises unoccupied, the advisors in the Office Agency of Cushman & Wakefield were successful in securing the modern office building for Huawei. It plans to move into the new office premises during September 2017.

The new building owned by Marc Asbeck Grundbesitz is located in a prominent position in the Federal Quarter of Bonn very close to the Post Tower. The former Federal Parliament as well as other Government buildings are only a few hundred metres away. After the Government relocated, the Quarter has developed into a modern office and administrative district. A direct link to the city centre and a fast connection to the motorway network on the right and left-hand sides of the river Rhine complete the advantages of the site. The new building is to be completed during the second quarter of 2017. Manstein Architekten from Aachen are responsible for the project and are also in charge of planning the high quality technical fittings for the offices.
